Honduras: Medical/Humanitarian Aid

In July 2013, Judah 1 partnered with Baptist Medical & Dental Mission International (BMDMI) for a week-long vision, medical, and humanitarian mission in Honduras.

A major focus of the trip was a vision clinic led in part by former Judah 1 board member Dave Moyers, a retired Army medic. Over the course of the week, Dave helped provide vision screenings and prescription eyeglasses for more than 1,000 people. In addition to the vision work, our team distributed food, medicine, toys, clothing, and quilts to families in need while sharing the love of Christ through prayer, encouragement, and the Gospel message.

This mission was a powerful example of Judah 1’s commitment to meeting both physical needs and spiritual needs, bringing compassionate care and the hope of Jesus to underserved communities.
