Why We Go

Before the Church was ever sent into the world, Christ came into the world.

John writes, “The Word became flesh and lived among us” (John 1:14, NEV). That is where Christian mission begins. God did not love humanity from a distance. In Christ, He came near.

Jesus said, “For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45, NEV). We go because He came. We serve because He served. We move toward need because Christ moved toward us in love.

When Jesus gave the Great Commission, He said, “Go, and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19, NEV). Those words have carried believers across streets, across cities, across borders, and across oceans for generations. The Church is a sent people because we follow a Savior who came.

At Judah 1, that is the heart behind what we do.

Aviation, logistics, partnerships, supplies, schools, mission teams, and outreach efforts are practical tools. They matter because they help the Body of Christ reach people with compassion, service, and the hope of the Gospel.

Sometimes going means boarding an aircraft. Sometimes it means sending supplies. Sometimes it means supporting a missionary, a school, a ministry partner, or a family in need. Sometimes it means praying faithfully for people we may never meet face to face. Sometimes it means giving so that someone else can go.

In the Kingdom of God, all of those acts matter.

We see this in places like Juárez, Mexico, where children are being served through a school ministry operated by Alvarado Ministries, in partnership with Judah 1. There, children receive meals, education, care, and encouragement in a Christian environment, and families receive practical aid and support.

Children mattered deeply to Jesus. He said, “Allow the little children, and do not forbid them, to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven is for such” (Matthew 19:14, NEV). That is why work like this matters.

We go because children matter to Jesus. We go because families in need matter to Jesus. We go because missionaries and ministry partners matter to Jesus. We go because communities that are difficult to reach still matter to Jesus.

The love of Christ moves outward.

Not everyone serves in the same way. Some go. Some send. Some pray. Some give. Some share. Some open doors of connection. But every faithful role has value when it is offered to God.

At Judah 1, we believe aviation can serve the mission of God when it is placed in His hands. We believe practical help can become a doorway for hope. We believe partnerships can strengthen the work of faithful ministries.

We go because He came. We serve because He served. We carry hope because He is our hope.

And wherever God opens the door, may we be found faithful to walk through it together.
